    Wanderers has excellent food at low prices.I like their roof terrace (restaurant) with a great view over the city.Relaxed atmosphere to meet travellers.The rooms are just basic , some are small, some are bigger.Nothing fancy.The dorm is good with ac.Clean, friendly knowledgeable staff.

    Perfect hostel for the lone traveller. Staff are more like friends, and there is an excellent bar/lounge area with a terrace balcony looking out on to the hustle and bustle of Manila. Relaxed atmosphere where you can meet a range of people. The mixed dorms with fans provides adequate sleeping conditions. You can easily aquire information on places to go. The place feels safe and secure and becomes a home for your stay in Manila. Plenty of rest rooms all cleaned regularly. I would go back again.

    Descent experience. Stayed here a few times over the course of our trip. Cheap rooms and a great terrace loft bar. The chef is really cool and is happy to mix things up a little. Plus there is a share kitchen of you want to diyThey can do your laundry for a price but watch out. Things may go missing. They lost my shoes but later found them.Overall this was one of the coolest laid back places we stayed in in the Philippines with its affordability and chilled out vibe with WiFi in the loft. Id highly recommend it

    Room was small but that was fine for us. Really good common room upstairs. Wifi was fast and worked well. Beer was cheap (50). Bathroom was good but the pipe wasnt connected properly so had to have a bucket shower 1 night. The morning receptionist and one of the male owners (I think) were incredibly nice and helpful. The evening receptionist unfortunately seemed quite rude and unhelpful. Would stay again. If coming from the north you can get jeepneys with mabini on it.

    Its good for people whos looking for an affordable place to stay along Malate, Manila specially when youre planning to stay for a week or two. They have a functional kitchen where you can cook what you want free of charge. I have a baby when I stayed there and I was able to sterilize my babys bottles there free of charge.

    NOT BAD AT ALL.... Great neighborhood, nice rooftop bar/cafe/hangout spot/ restaurant. Really close to the bay, really close to different kind of places. From the expensive spots, to historical spots, to ethnic neighborhoods, local neighborhood, or maybe quick see around the slum areas (be careful though)... they are all pretty much close to this hostel. So take a pick, no matter what choice you have, its gonna be a crowded city. Not a five star though because they could do better with the bathrooms. Its not bad, actually what I expected from the price but a little extra effort, it would put this spot at a higher level.

    Wanderers is a great place to stay.very economical, location wise(its in the heart of manila)staffs are friendly, rooms are worth the price too.I really love the barbeque night! Me and my friends had a wonderful stay in this hostel!

    Edgar and staff are great. The private rooms are basic but the amenities are always clean. The bat sells cheap beers and other drinks and the location is spot on close to Manila Bay, Robinson Shopping Mall and Mall of Asia

    Great food and low price in the roof- outside bar. VERY good music and always friends and nice people there. Rooms are clean and fresh. Cheap accommodation above a busy street although quiet in the rooms.

    Interesting mix of people. Food is slightly expensive. The terrace is awesome. Good location for exploring the rest of the city and/or country. Erras is downstairs for some nice, cheap comfort food. Many amenities nearby. Not as posh and hip as Makati, but there are some cool bars to be found nearby.

    Really nice hostel for cheap. Room are small and not really comfortable, but if you stay 1 or 2 nights it make the job. The view is pretty cool. Not far from the ocean view.

    It was my third times to stay here when I was writing this comment. I had stayed another two backpacker hostels around Malate, this one is my favourite. I love the rooftop bar. Very chilled:)

    Great place! All the staff is super nice and very helpful. The place is clean, the rooftop perfect for a drink after a good day of walking. IllI be back for sure!

    Pretty okay place for just a short stay at such an affordable price. The mall is just a walk away from Wanderers Guest House and you are surrounded by many restaurants, stores, etc.

    A very nice hostel near Manila Bay in a very lively party/club district, yet not too loud. A very nice rooftop terrace with a bar. The only negative point is the bathrooms, which only have cold water and are showing signs of mold. Otherwise, I think the hostel is very good. I would definitely recommend it to people who dont want to spend a lot of money and want good accommodations.

    Inexpensive and cozy hostel in the very center of Manila - Malate. Very fast internet. An open area with cafe tables on the fifth floor where you can have a great time. Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, cafes, Robinson Mall. Close to the airport -130-250 for Uber, depending on how busy it is.

    Backpacker hotel, as you would imagine. The advertising images are certainly from better times. The rooms are simple but sufficient and all the necessary things for hygiene are available and functional.The roof terrace offers good opportunities to chat with other travelers and cheap drinks and food.
