Did the 10 day retreat and learned so so much. Still deciding exactly how much I align with SN Goenka’s teachings, but given the course is the same everyone in the world, this is definitely a good place to do it. Delicious food, caring helpful volunteer staff, beautiful environment and clean / well kept facilities. Wonderful wonderful place

Brand new dhamma hall is beautiful. Daragh was a great teacher.The accommodation is very basic but what else do you need. I advise bringing a mosquito net as there are very big spiders which had me on edge for the 10 days..!Food was excellent. Thank you very much to the servers.

Dhamma Phala is the perfect place in the Philippines to solely practice Vipassana meditation technique. They are non-sectarian and everyone is welcome to learn this meditation technique. The only proper meditation technique that taught me the art of living, understanding that the reality we see in the world is a reflection of the reality within us. The assistant teacher, and the servers, who are all volunteers practiced this technique, and they have a high level of compassion and understanding to all. Considering that the centre provides free accommodation and food, it is ran by a donation basis, but also they only accept donations from those who have already finished the 10 day Vipassana Course, ensuring that the donation comes from the inner volition of the person, to maintain the authenticity of the practice. I highly recommend Dhamma Phala, a beautiful place for everyone to learn and practice Vipassana meditation.

A hidden gem of the Philippines!!Set peacefully amid coconut and banana grove, the center is such a well run one with active local youngsters and international volunteers. Although my part time Dhamma Server period in the center kitchen was brief from 12 to 15 September 2024, it was a happy one as always meeting all servers from all over. Really worth a stop if you have time.
