Nurse Olive was very nice and quick with the vaccines. Smooth and light handed.SLEC employees are also accommodating and the current system is convenient without the long lines. The security guards are rude, though.

The staff are nice and approachable. Just be patient and listen keenly whenever they call your designated number especially on the floors when there are lots of people and might be hard to hear what they are saying (on those floors or areas without a mic). Overall, I have a good experience throughout my medical appointment journey. Thank you, SLEC staff!PS: Just a reminder! Always wear a face mask in clinics, hospital or public spaces for you and the other peoples protection.

Me and my family were properly accommodated throughout the process, especially during the immunization with Ms. Grace. We were adequately informed of the vaccines to be injected and Ms. Grace had thoroughly discussed the additional vaccines to be given to my 14-year old brother. Aside from this, she also gave reminders on the possible side effects of the vaccines and prescribed us the proper medication in case those occurred. All in all, we had a good experience.

I would like to sincerely commend Sir Ranel James (immu nurse) at SLEC for his exceptional care and professionalism, especially during my daughter’s recent vaccination. He was incredibly patient, gentle, and reassuring—helping ease my daughter’s fear and making the experience smooth and positive. His kind words, calm approach, and gentle hands made a big difference. It’s rare to see such a warm and child-friendly approach, and I’m truly grateful for the care and attention he gave.Thank you for making a potentially stressful moment into a comfortable and safe one for us. Your dedication is truly appreciated.

Just a heads up for everyone going through the IR1 visa process—my medical exam at SLEC was very smooth and fast, completed in just 2 days. Everything was systematic and well-organized, and all the staff were polite and helpful. However, about 2 weeks after my medical exam, I received a call from someone claiming to be from the U.S. Embassy. He said I needed to undergo a psychological test, which would be done online and would cost 4,500 pesos. He sounded urgent and warned that failure to take the test could result in visa denial.I immediately contacted the SLEC team to verify, and they responded quickly. They confirmed that my results were submitted to the U.S. Embassy on April 8 and that no further tests were required from their end. I’m very thankful for their fast and clear response. To anyone going through the same process—please be careful. Avoid posting your medical updates on social media, and if you receive a suspicious call like this, verify it directly with SLEC or the U.S. Embassy. It was a scam, and I hope this review helps prevent others from falling for it.

SLEC handled my U.S. visa medical with efficiency and professionalism. All steps were clearly explained, and the staff were courteous. I truly appreciate the nurse who gave me my vaccine, Nurse Raien. He was kind, reassuring, and very skilled. Everything went smoothly and I felt well taken care of. Thank you, SLEC team!

  • Review 9 (2025-01-14 - Rating: 5)

Reading the reviews got me worried lol. Maybe Im one of the lucky ones or maybe they changed management but my experience was great! Arrived 7am for my 10am appointment and they let me in but followed appointment schedule. There is NO FIRST COME FIRST SERVED method. Staffs were quick and reliable especially the guards.

  • Review 10 (2022-07-05 - Rating: 5)

    1. Bring an extra copy of your vaccination card. They have not indicated it in their email but they will ask for an extra copy. Theres printing service available at the cafeteria across the street in case you forgot to bring one.2. Bring a ton of patience with you. Staff are very courteous but the waiting time can take a toll on your patience. People arrive by families so long lines are to be expected. I arrived for my appointment at 12 noon for my 1 pm appointment and thankfully I was accommodated even if I was an hour early.3. Bring extra cash. Depending on your medical results, there may be additional tests that has to be completed. There are atms nearby but itll be a hassle to have to go outside. Youll also be given an option to do the additional test at another clinic of your preference.4. Overall, it was not the best experience but I have already managed my expectation so I have no complaints.

Good morning, We finished our medical examination and the staff, nurses, doctors, and especially the guards were very nice, accommodating and informative. I would like to ask a question regarding the IGRA result of my mother. She is positive for LTBI which is inactive TB. They said our interview to the US embassy will continue. What happens next, will the US Embassy still approved us, or it will delay our visa application. Hoping for your reply, Thank you so much.

  • Review 21 (2024-02-09 - Rating: 5)

Having read the low reviews here by others stating the absurd waiting times, rudeness of staff, and forced sputum test, I was expecting a bad experience once I arrived and that Ill inevitably have to reschedule my US embassy interview due to a forced sputum test. However, my experience was actually the complete opposite. Staff were very helpful with questions, professional, and quick with their tasks. Some spoke very fast, considering that there is a lot of people to go through, which might come off as rude. Just remember that theyre just doing their job and that theres a lot of people. They probably just want to get it done and over with quickly. My entire stay lasted from 1:30 PM to around 5:30 PM which is around 4 hours. Everything was moving in a considerably fast pace until I got to the 5th floor. Where I had to wait for around 1.30 hours for my name to be called at the US Triage Counter. Afterwhich, I got my files and was informed I didnt need to go for Day 2 since my results were good. I may have gotten shorter waiting times because there were only very few US Visa applicants unlike Canada, Australia, and New Zealand which had a lot more.

Last July 17,2024 is my medical appointment/schedule, i may got hit in one of my test result, but hey! I still have an execellent experience in this facility from the moment i step in until the very last day of the 3 excutive days that i need to comeback. The welcoming vibes, smiling (even wearing a facemask) and a great feeling of being taking care of inside the facility from the Security Guards on duty, Utility Personnel, Receptionist in every area, Medtech Personnel, the entire team actually and esp. the cleanliness in every area is very well maintained and well organized. I dont do this kind of reviews but with all my experience from different medical clinic this one got me. St. Lukes Extension Clinic deserves to be recognized and i guess im one of the few that observed and appreciate the place itself and esp. the Team that works here. Keep it up! 🫡🫡👏👏

Done with our 2 days Medical Exam @ St. Luke Medical Center Extension Clinic. They have made changes with there order for the better. They are following the time you choose during the registration. We arrived 6am for our 7am appointment, we were asked to fall in line with the others who have 7am appointment outside SLEC.Workflow is 2 days assuming results are satisfactory. The 2nd day is for releasing results and immunization.

  • Review 26 (2018-08-16 - Rating: 5)

I have to give them a higher rating since my parents had a good experience. They said everyone they encountered was friendly and helpful. So I’m not sure if this is because they are elderly folks, which also makes so much sense. Long lines and slow process is pretty much a norm in places like this. But my parents’ experience was not that bad. They did had to undergo sputum test and all. It’s very frustrating but the customer service at the pulmonary department are a five star! I call from the US. They are polite and helpful. I even get to talk to the doctor to clarify some information. Did not expect that! So I give them a higher rating due to this. Thank you Trixie Ann, Jasper and Hannah!

  • Review 27 (2019-07-23 - Rating: 4)

I had a decent experience in their clinic even though I had to wait for 3 hours at one area there, they were all accommodating and they were all working together as a team including the security and the ones in corporate attires and not just the ones with scrubs. I just decided to extend my patience and understanding. They seemed to be working efficiently and effectively. However, not all of them are verifying the applicants identity especially before blood extraction. I see some lacking coordination because they seem to be lacking staff on some areas and also overworked but my overall experience was not bad. They provide assistance all throughout the process. I suggest there should be someone in charge in assisting applicants on the ground floor so they wont get lost in finding their way on what to do next.

  • Review 28 (2022-10-04 - Rating: 4)

I went there in line with my requirements for a canadian student visa. Contrary to some reviews my overall experience was not so bad. The guards let me inside to start processing even if i arrived an hour earlier than my appointment. Overall the staff was friendly and entertained questions that I had including where to go next after each step (Even if I wasnt fluent in tagalog coming from outside Luzon). The only issue I faced was the long waiting time for my physical exam, everything else was reasonably paced given the number of applicants that day. Some tips:-Pay your appointment beforehand (I paid via Security bank) but bring extra cash.-Prepare all the requirements needed.-Be sure your passport photocopy is in the proper format as indicated by them.-Bring a passport sized photo.-Have a big meal before your appointment and bring water. (Take note eating is not allowed inside.)-Wear comfortable clothing.-Try getting in early to save time.-Bring a pen. (Many people didnt have one for some reason)-If you have tattoos or a lot or piercings expect to pay additional for more additional testing.-Try to stay near the counter where your name is to be called up to avoid not hearing it. (Just find a vacant seat nearer when you can, most people do so the moment one person near a counter stands up for their turn.)

  • Review 30 (2022-12-21 - Rating: 5)

I was actually so worried before my medical because of bad reviews Ive read about their service and other stuff but it was the opposite actually, everybody was so respectful, everything was so quick I did not have to wait for so long in line or for my name to be called . I did my medical dec 20,2022 and I got my immunization and the brown envelope Dec 21,2022. Overall best experience with st.lukes staff/nurses/doctors/guards.

  • Review 31 (2022-01-18 - Rating: 5)

My husband went there last 11&13 Jan for his medical appointment. He was apprehensive to have it here due to the bad reviews and planned of going to the clinic in Bagiuo instead but he had another important errand in Metro Manila so he just took his chances. And based on what we read, the delays were sometimes caused by incomplete documents presented to the clinic. We ran through the checklist multiple times leading to day of the visit and made sure we had everything in place and even made multiple copies just in case. He went to the clinic on the 11th, presented his papers and was given a number, waited for few minutes while they were put on queue, then were briefed on the processes to follow depending on the result of their swab tests, waited for few more minutes until his number was called, and was done in roughly an hour. Everything ran smoothly so he was surprised and quite frankly, impressed. He came back on the 13th, presented his papers again and was let in. His photo was taken then was asked to go upstairs to have his medical exam. He said all the staff were kind and warm except for the lady in front of the x-ray room. While everyone was handing him something in a kind manner, she dropped the log book with a thud. It wasnt that disrespectful at all for him but shes the only one like that so its hard not to notice it. She also spoke coldly, again, different from the rest. As for his medical, as he has ear piercings, he was asked for additional PhP3,700+ for Hepa tests. If you have tattoo, it would be safe to expect the same so you can prepare for the additional cost. In regard to his x-ray, they asked him to provide sputom for 3 consecutive days to culture and testing. There is no additional charge but the result will only be available between 2-3 months as he was told. We know he doesnt have TB as he just had his health screening a few months ago and we hope to get the same result. Overall, his experience so far is not bad as to what most people said.

I was here today for sputum collection, the guard on the main lobby was polite, redirected me to enter at the other gate for sputum test patients. Was given a health declaration form and queue number. Took around 15-20mins for my number to be called to get inside the building. Physical distancing is observed and sanitization is from time to time. Process is very orderly. Staffs esp the nurses are helpful and kind.

For Day 1, I went on a Friday. Got there at 4:30 AM. I was 15th in line? They started checking requirements and giving out numbers at around 6: 00 AM. I already registered online and made a deposit to Security Bank for fees payment beforehand and that saved me a lot of time. Staff was accommodating and helpful. My experience was smooth because I just got lucky I guess? (first in line for urine and blood sample test, medical checkup/interview with a doctor). It could have been better if they have more staff at the US Counter (Medical Exam). I had to wait for 30 mins for each process there. Finished by 9 AM

I went here for my medical for US EMBASSY requirements. First thing I did is to set an appointment online. When I reached the clinic, first thing I did I get number to the guard for priority lane. Second, the guard check my documents if complete and if 2x2 picture is valid and complete requirements. Then they will check your temperature and of course you wear facemask and faceshield. Then next step photobooth for picture. And then they will tell you to go to U.S. Reception or where you at next to go. Then they tell you to wait for number to be called. Everything goes well just follow the procedure/instructions the staff tells you. The guard and staff is accommodating. If you are doubting whats next dont hesitate to ask. My medical is done so fast only half day.👍👍👍

I did my medical exam for study permit on Dec 10. No issues at all. You should bring a photocopy version of your vaccine records since theyll ask for it even though the email didnt say so. Medical exam took about 3 hours. 11:00-14:00.

  • Review 42 (2017-01-19 - Rating: 5)

  • Review 44 (2017-02-03 - Rating: 5)

All the staff here are friendly👍Service is good especially the Nurses. Just be patient for a long hour of waiting especially on the releasing of results and X-ray CD. SLEC BOCOBO serving 4 countries in one roof. So expect a volume of people particular on USA Immigrants. Come on Thursdays for less patients around.Remember be healthy and conditioned 1 month before your medical exam, dont come if you have a cough, colds,or heavy phlegm.maybe it can effect your chest X-RAY, Because if you failed or probably have a sputum exam you need to reschedule your interview at the US EMBASSY and wait for 2 months until your sputum culture gets negative.Medical Exam in SLEC is the very important step in our visa journey or I say OUR AMERICAN DREAM 🇺🇸 Goodluck!
