My stay here in LCRC as an clinical intern has been a wonderful and memorable experience. I have learned so many things about clinical practices regarding mental health and clinical diagnoses. The staffs here are very accommodating and will teach you everything you need to learn for your clinical internship. Not only did they teach us well, they also let us experience how to conduct a clinical interview to their rehab patients. A fun and full of learning experience even when its only online.

My experience in LCRC as an intern was great and the environment is simply nice. You will learn how to deal with mentally challenge people and it will also help you boost your knowledge and skills. Also, they helped a lot to us intern to learn everything we need to do with our program. We, facilitates activities that will help the patients cope with their everyday lives. We have a good mentor which gave us advices and feedbacks to every activities we did. However, the facilities need more improvement such as ventilation.

They are very hands-on as well and you will have so much to takeaway from their internship program. We also had the chance to talk to a graduated patient and we can see the positive effects of the therapy provided by LCRC.

Altogether, my clinical internship experience at Life Change Recovery Center has been very remarkable and beneficial. I have to venture outside of my comfort zone and try new things that I previously shied away from. I developed the bravery to just be my authentic self and exhibit improvement at every meeting, and I got enough confidence to lead a webinar and communicate and connect with others to share my knowledge. Lastly, I acknowledge that receiving legitimate criticism from other people, especially my co-interns is far better because it will help me develop, evolve, and become aware of a better version of myself. Sir Paul and Miss Agnes were a great assistance and help to me, especially at times like this when we are all scared and unsure of what to do as beginners. They mentored me without passing judgment and shared their expertise.

My internship at LCRC was productive and stimulating. I learned so much not only about Psychology in Clinical Settings but lessons in life through conducting module facilitation and webinars. Our supervisors were very professional and kind. They were nice enough to entertain my questions and helped me out when I had something I didnt understand. They also let us flex our talents & skills every now and then. I am grateful to our supervisors that they trained us how to build a rapport and they allowed us interns to conduct interviews to the former housemates through video conferencing for us to learn more about a specific mental disorders and their way of coping. With LCRC, I was able to open my eyes to the reality that mental health patients really need a committed mental health institution that will provide help to people in need, especially in mental health services. It was a great experience overall. Thank you so much LCRC!

LCRC is a great place for students who want to have an experience in the clinical setting. The housemates and staffs are really friendly and you will definitely enjoy being an intern. It was fun because we get to interact / became friends with other students from different schools. LCRC is a good place for your clinical internship. The opportunities is wide range and positivity is everywhere. The staffs are friendly and approachable. I always look forward on outdoors where we can play basketball and board games with the housemates. LCRC prepared us how to be in the clinical world. We were exposed to different group therapy sessions which was very informative for us as interns. Group dynamics had been part of our daily routine. Most of the tasks surely had given us sufficient knowledge that is very applicable in our field.LCRC promotes good relation to one another. The staff were very accommodating. On one hand, I witnessed how secure the housemates whenever they are in LCRC. Confidentiality was truly kept and maintained. Overall, I had a great experince during my internship days in LCRC. It was tiring yet fun and very educative.

Life Change Recovery Center is a place where I did an internship virtually together with my batchmates. Despite the fact that what we carry out there were done online, I genuinely enjoyed it as well as I gained a lot of knowledge regarding what occurs or what to expect in a clinical setting. This internship taught us how to facilitate a webinar, review or provide insights about certain articles, webinars, videos, and execute other stuff related to mental health. Overall, I can say that this whole experience gave not only learnings, but also I realized how much important it is to help other people who are struggling mentally. Furthermore, I can say that this experience will be useful in the future, and will be embedded in my memory, which I will treasure for the rest of my life.

Being an intern at the LCRC is never easy but is always fun. I know that the things that I have learn there will be applied in the future. The staffs and the higher ups are really nice and very accomodating. You will learn new things everyday not only by the help of your co-interns but also by the help of the housemates and the higher ups. We can also meet the housemates everyday where we can have the opportunity to observe them and we can really see their growth and improvements. LCRC also helped us grow and develop our confidence more.

Being an intern at LCRC was a big oppurtunity. It made me realize that i made the right choice in joining their family for a limited time becaue of the accommodating and welcoming presence of the people within the facility. Throughout my stay, ive gained friends, experience, and most of all, learnings from every activity and sharing that we had. Even during the latter days of my intership, ive never felt that it was just for compliance to finish early and get a good grade in my practicum rather it was a part of my journey where I wished that lasted longer to be with the people who ive been close with.

The centers name really claimed the word life change. LCRC changed my life in a way how I deal with people (client, co-interns and LCRC Staff), deal with sudden tasks, deal with my emotions, deal with my perspectives in life and deal with myself. Overall, all the activities I encountered in the center were all demanding physically, mentally and emotionally but it was all worth it. I enjoyed my stay there as I learned and grow, as I see clients being thankful to us, see their improvements in the span of two months and being comfortable and happy with us

Being an intern at Life Change Recovery Center, I admired their passion in helping people, dedication and the values and advocacy they believe in. These manifest on how everything works from the staff, interns, housemates and even the programs. I also learned to be more sociable and to adjust myself in the environment where I am working and to whom I am working with. In addition, we have group therapy sessions with the psychologists, Maam Agnes and Doctor Randy Dellosa. They really thought us things that personally inspires me the most. I love that this institution always put God first in everything; how they influenced interns and housemates to always do good and that there’s always hope in the Lord. Life’s successes and struggles have made known to us through our own experiences and equal share of learning. We are all learning from each other and I think that’s one of the most beautiful parts of my internship. I am not really used to talking in front of many people and share what’s on my mind all the time. But LCRC have helped us unlock our hidden potentials and dig to ourselves more, by giving us the task to facilitate and present our own module. I am not the type of person who starts conversations but I have made new friends surprisingly. I have learned that being open and having good communication with others are essential to connect effectively to them.
